Our Story
The inspiration for The Fox Foundry came when our founder, Sheila Fox, built a family home with her husband Simon. After the hard work of the build, Sheila and Simon wanted to fill their home slowly with things they loved and that would last.
We have the word foundry in our name to recognise the importance of the maker and the making process. In an old-fashioned foundry, the magic of creating one thing from another comes as a craftsperson pours molten metal into an empty mold. At The Fox Foundry, we always want to know how our homewares are made and by whom. Many of our products are handmade by artisan makers.
